What we hold. Your name, email address, professional registration details, the courses you are enrolled on, your progress through each lesson, and your assessment results. For learners on the VTCT Skills Level 7 Diploma we also hold the records required by the awarding organisation.
Why we hold it. To deliver the training you have enrolled on, to assess you, to issue certificates, and to meet our obligations as a VTCT Skills approved centre and as a CPD provider. Our lawful basis is the performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interest in maintaining assessment records. Where records are required by an awarding organisation, we also rely on legal obligation.
Who sees it. Your assessor and the centre's internal quality assurer. VTCT Skills and its external quality assurer, for learners on the Level 7 Diploma. Thinkific, who host this platform on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We do not sell your data and do not share it for marketing.
How long we keep it. Assessment records and certification claims are retained in line with awarding organisation requirements and our own retention policy — normally eight years for adult records. Platform activity data is deleted when your account is closed.
Your rights. You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to [email protected]. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk
Accounts. Accounts on this platform are created by the centre. You cannot register yourself, and the platform is not open to the public.
